Paul Kaminski, 71, of Freeland, passed away Sunday evening at the Pavilion at St. Luke Village, Hazleton.

Born in Freeland, March 13, 1946, he was the son of the late Felix and Helen (Lawson) Kaminski. He was raised in Highland and Freeland and graduated from Foster Twp. High School in 1963 and Penn State University in 1965. He was raised in the Methodist faith and worked in various parts of the United States and Canada.

He was an avid auto road racing fan, hunter, fisherman and traveler. He was a long time member of the Porsche Club of America, and the Nation Rifle Association.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by two brothers, Dale and Charles Kaminski, and all his aunts and uncles.

Surviving are his sister-in-law, Geri Kaminski, McAdoo; two nieces, Lisa Kaminski, McAdoo; and Kim Brannigan and her husband David, Wapwallopen; and four great-nieces, Isabel, Makayla, Valerie, and Alicia, and many cousins in and out of the area.

Paul always appreciated the friends old and new he made in many places and valued them dearly even if he lost touch with some of the dearest over time. Hopefully they will all meet again in a far better place.

Burial after cremation will take place privately at the convenience of the family on the family plot in Union Cemetery, Weatherly.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, is assisting the family.
