Michele (Fourre) Mulligan

Michele Mulligan, 71, of Drums, passed away early Wednesday morning at Celtic Hospice Wilkes-Barre, following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Dunellen, NJ, October 8, 1945, she was the daughter of Norman and Marie (Rangstrom) Fourre, and spent the past 12 years in Drums after moving from Hazleton.

Michele was a homemaker for most of her life and loved painting.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband Thomas M. Mulligan, who passed away November 27, 2016, a sister Sue Wojciechowski and a brother Warren Fourre.

Surviving are three daughters Dawn Franklin, Hazleton; Cindy Matthews and her husband Chuck, Haddock; and Lisa Fourre, Wiscasatt, ME; four grandchildren, Robert and Michele Franklin, Steven Fourre, and Brittany Eigenbrod; four great-grandchildren; and a brother Jon Fourre and his wife Joyce, New Jersey.
