Mary Judith (Mindick) Tufts

Mary Judith Tufts, 57, of Hazle Township, passed away suddenly Thursday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.

Born in Hazleton, July 27, 1959, she was the daughter of the late John and Geraldine Mindick and spent the past 4 years in Hazle Township after moving from Hazleton.

Mary was employed by Pretium Packaging, Humboldt and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a brother John Mindick.

Surviving are her husband John; three children Latisha Tufts, Mahanoy City; John Tufts, Hazleton; and Anita Tufts, Hazle Township; eleven grandchildren; a brother Marty Mindick, Rock Glen; four sisters Susan Brior, Rock Glen; Gail Lynn, Zion Grove; Elizabeth Houser, Scotch Valley; and Theresa Mindick, Rock Glen; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Weston.  Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening 6-8 pm.  Online condolences can be entered and more information is available at www.harmanfuneral.com.
