Mary Ellen (Smith) Hutton

Mary Ellen Hutton, of Conyngham, passed away early Tuesday morning.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Catherine (Renn) Smith, and spent most of her life in Conyngham.

Mary Ellen was a graduate of Hazleton High School, was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Conyngham.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Edward C. Hutton, who passed away in 2012, and two brothers Renn C. and John A. Smith.

Surviving are five daughters Cathy Wolfe and husband Greg, Conyngham; Carol Martin and husband Harry, Doylestown; Susan Sheer and husband David, Conyngham; Cynthia Moisey and husband Donald, New Cumberland; Allison Price and husband Albert, Sugarloaf; five granddaughters Beth Henderson and husband Gerald, Jessica Martin and husband Alphan Kirayoglu, Leslie Martin, Stephanie Moisey, Laura Price; two great-grandsons Gerald and Isaiah Henderson; and one sister Elizabeth Mangler, Fairfax, VA.

Her memorial service will take place Saturday, November 14th at 10 am in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.   Interment will follow in Conyngham Union Cemetery.  Her pastor the Rev. Carolyn Hetrick will officiate the service.
