Lois A. (Osifat) King

December 12, 1937 ~ April 28, 2016 (age 78) 78 Years Old

Ms. Lois King crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday afternoon to join her lifelong companions who are waiting with wagging tails. 

Born December 12, 1937, she graduated from McAdoo High School in 1955, and McCann’s School of Business in 1956.  She worked as an LPN at many local medical facilities, taught at Allied Medical and Technical Careers and retired from Weatherwood Nursing Home in Weatherly.  She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, was an avid Steelers fan, and absolutely adored animals. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Anna (Kodak) Osifat, and a brother Fred Osifat.

Surviving are a son, Anthony Romanek and his wife Elaine, Drums; a daughter, Dianne Bullard and her husband Darryl; grandchildren, a niece Sharon, a nephew Fred, and grand-pups Inky and Moses.

All services are private and will take place at the convenience of the family, with a graveside service taking place at Mount Laurel Memorial Park, Hazleton.

Donations may be made in Lois’s memory to the Hazleton Animal Shelter, PO BOX 481, Hazleton, PA 18201, Hillside SPCA, PO BOX 233, Pottsville, PA 17901 or to Luzerne County SPCA 524 East Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.  Harman Funeral Home and Crematory (East) 669 W.
