Judy A. (Zehner) Shuman

Judy A. Shuman, 63, of Bloomsburg, passed away Thursday morning at Geisinger Medical Center – Danville.

Born in Hazleton, September 7, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Wright and Nancy (Schmidt) Zehner and had spent most of her life in Bloomsburg.

Judy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Berwick Ward.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going out to eat with her sister, baking, canning and catching up with her friends and family on Facebook.  She was also fond of helping her husband around the farm, wherever Wayne was Judy was not far behind.

Surviving are her loving husband of 42 years, Wayne P. Shuman; children, Wayne Jr. and his wife Katie; Pam Slusser and her husband Greg; Holly Insinga and her husband James; and Jamie Shuman all of Bloomsburg; 13 grandchildren, Allyssa, Cassandra and Tyler Slusser; Colby, Samantha and Wyatt Diehl; Shelby and Jaxon Insinga; Emma, Abigail, Donald, Zoey and Brooke Shuman all of Bloomsburg; sisters, Connie Mummey and her husband Donald, Bloomsburg; Donna Cicon and her husband Michael, Hallstead; and Sharon Sanchez, Bloomsburg; brother, Wright “Allen” Jr. and his wife Kelly, Bloomsburg; many nieces and nephews, and loving companion animals Homer and Hannah.

Her funeral will be held Sunday at 6 pm from Harman Funeral Home and Crematory (West), 1265 Rock Glen Rd., Rock Glen.  Friends and family are invited to call at the funeral home from 4 pm until the time of the service.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
