Joyce A. (Morgan) Grusastkie

Joyce A. Grusastkie, 87, of Fern Glen, passed away late Wednesday night at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Schaghticoke, NY, August 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and Rubey (Montgomery) Morgan

Joyce had worked as a Seamstress in several local garment factories and was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Nuremberg.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husbands, John Tufts, Herman Dodson, Sr., and most recently her beloved Thomas Grusastkie, Sr..to whom she was married 25 years before his passing on December 2, 2003; a infant brother Buster Morgan; her oldest son Jerry Jones; and a sister Anita Rose.

Surviving are children Theresa Marvin, Brenda Poling, Herman Dodson, Jr., Angelica Weikel, Neil Tufts, Jonathan Tufts, Dorothy Fulton, and Arlene; step-children Sharon Feiffer, Theresa Mary, Margaret Simon, and Thomas Grusastkie, Jr., 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and sisters Bille Roy, Judy Frascatore, and Marion McCormick.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 10 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 49 S. Hunter Highway, Drums.  Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9 am until the time of the service.
