John J. Kostanesky

John J. Kostanesky, 41 of Beaver Meadows, passed away Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

Born in Hazleton, August 4, 1974; he was the son of John F. Kostanesky, and his wife Cheryl, Summerville, SC and Karen (Brandmier) Gruber and her husband James, Freeland.  He spent the past nine years in Beaver Meadows after moving from Ebervale.

John was employed as a Delivery Truck Driver for K&K Oil Company, Harwood.  He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Beaver Meadows.  He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was a very giving person, who had organized benefits on behalf of three different families in need.

Surviving in addition to his parents and step-parents are his wife of the past 17 years, the former Jocelyn DeCosmo; a daughter Harley and a son Shawn, both at home; a sister Robin Frask, and her husband Randy, Drums; three nieces and a nephew Gabrielle and Anthony Frask, and Sophia and Skylee Webb; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral will be held Monday at 1 pm with a Memorial Service from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums.  Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 11 am until the time of the service.
