Irene A. (Devaney) Brown

Irene A. Brown passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Crestview Center in Langhorne. She was 85.

Born in Oneida, PA Mrs. Brown is an original Levittown homeowner and longtime member of Emmaus Road Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Brown loved to crochet, do word puzzles and enjoyed going on cruises.

For the last 18 years, she was happily employed with Northtec.

Irene truly loved her great grandson, "her little prince", Cameron.

Beloved wife of 46 years to the late Cameron Brown, Irene is the loving mother of Brenda Weatherford (Melvin) and Linda Dreisbach (James).

She is the devoted grandmother of Gloria Hinderliter (Brian) and Andrea Lee (Eric) and doting Grammy to Cameron R. Lee.

Mrs. Brown will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended members of the Foulks family.

She was predeceased by her very special friend, Earl Foulks, her parents, John and Myrtle (Ulshaefer) Devaney, her brother, John Devaney and her sisters, Esther Dallachiesa, Rose Scarpati and Mae Devaney.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends may also call again on Thursday, from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at the Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (WEST) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, PA 18246, followed by a graveside service in Nuremberg Cemetery.
