Having known Harry since playground days at A.D. Thomas, I can say that he was the quintessential gentleman who exuded charm, wit, compassion and personal integrity. Throughout his adult life, Harry was known and respected by many as a successful banking executive and a loving family man who was also deeply committed to many social responsibilities. I am forever grateful to Harry for the many things he did for me and others I grew up with as a mentor and friend long before his inevitable success as a family man and a businessman.

As a stand out athlete in several sports, most notably basketball and softball, Harry was looked up to and admired by others who did not compete at the same level. He always took the time to genuinely befriend these people and to skillfully coach and coax the very best from them. Through first hand experience with Harry's unfaltering friendship and encouragement on and off the playing field, he will forever have a special place in my heart.

My sincerest condolences go out to Robbie, Jimmy, Haley and all those who loved him and whom he loved and may you find peace and comfort knowing that he is on the front nine with Jesus and probably holding his own.

To the Filbert Family,
My sincere condolences to you on the passing of your father . I had the privilege of playing golf with Harry many times in the Sacco Pro Am at the VCC. We were fortunate to win the event a few times over the years. I always looked forward to Harry's enthusiasm when we played .
My thoughts and prayers are with you .

To the Filbert Family;

I knew Harry for ,any years during our banking careers. He was an outstanding man with the highest of character and integrity. While we were competitors, we were more importantly, friends. He will be sorely missed. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you all during this very difficult time.
