Gregory J. Rolland, 67, of Drums, passed away Monday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton, following a sudden illness.
Born in Hazleton, April 12, 1950, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Prokop) Rolland, and spent the past 20 years in Drums after moving from Hazleton.
Greg was a graduate of Wilkes University and worked as a purchasing manager for several local manufacturing companies. He was a US Coast Guard Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed golfing at Sand Springs, collecting cars, and dart shooting; and was an avid reader.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother William.
Surviving are two daughters Amanda Drumheller and her husband Kenneth Leshko, Sugarloaf; and Jillian Brennan and her husband Joseph, Westminster, CO; two grandchildren Haley and Mary Alyce; his former wife and best friend Debby Rolland, Conyngham; a brother Tim and his wife Mary, Hudsondale; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 10 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, with the Rev. Connell McHugh officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 9 am until the time of the service. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
