Elizabeth (Jachetta) Centrelli

Elizabeth Centrelli, 85, of Drums, passed away following a sudden illness, Monday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Garfield, NJ, July 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jenny (Bonomolo) Jachetta, and had resided in Drums for the past 11 years after moving from Bushkill.

Elizabeth worked in the check processing department at National Community Bank in Garfield, NJ.  She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband, Charles D. Centrelli, Sr. who passed away July 2, 2007 and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are four children, Charles D. Jr. and his wife Eve, Drums; Craig and his wife Lynn, West Milford, NJ; Karen Kern and her husband Bob, Drums; and Cindy Hadjidion, Lake Peekskill, NY; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial visitation will be held Friday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Harman Funeral Home & Crematory (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums. A Celebration of Life will follow at Sand Springs Country Club, 10 Clubhouse Drive, Drums at 12 pm.
