Eleanor J. (Deiterich) Antolick

Eleanor J. Antolick, 85, of Flourtown, passed away Saturday morning at her residence.

Born in Freeland, February 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Gertrude Dieterich.

Eleanor was a housewife who dedicated her life to her family.  She loved cooking and often sent treats to many including her son’s friend former Philadelphia Mayor Frank L. Rizzo and his wife Carmella.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Thomas, Sr., who passed away October 14, 2012; a son Richard G., August 6, 2016; and a sister Laura.

Surviving is her son Thomas, Jr., Flourtown, who's asks that family members dedicate a Sunday dinner in memory of his mother with stories about her great long life, as food was such a part of it.  “I love you Mom.”

Her funeral will be held Friday at 11 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, with the Rev. William W. “Chip” Fairchild officiating.  Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran and UCC Cemetery, St. Johns.  Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 am until the time of the service.
