Ann L. Ambruch, 77, of Weston passed away Tuesday morning at her residence.
Born in Jeansville, PA on August 5, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Grace (Ferry) Clark and had spent the last 53 years in Weston.
Ann was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church and the church’s Alter and Rosary Society. She was employed as a retail clerk at Boscov’s Department Store. Ann was also a member of the Lionettes and the Silver Sneakers at Gerry’s Fitness Center. She loved spending time attending her grandchildren’s athletic events.
Surviving are her loving husband John R. Ambruch with whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage on August 12, 2016; three sons Michael Ambruch, Weston; John Ambruch and his wife Annette, Weston; Daniel Ambruch and his companion Julie Peters, Zion Grove; two grandchildren Josh and Nicole; a brother Joseph Clark, Tresckow; two sisters Mary Phillips, Dippel Manor; Pat Tomko, Weston; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Weston with the Rev. Patrick McDowell officiating the service. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the church at 9:30am until the time of the service.
