Alexander P. Fury

Alexander P. Fury, 90, of Ocean Pines, MD, passed away Sunday at his home.  

Born in Plymouth, PA, February 26, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank and Lucy (DeLucca) Fury.

Alexander was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and had been a Lieutenant in the Washington DC Police Department.  He was a life member of the Association of Retired Police Officers, Boggs-Disharoon American Legion Post #123, Berlin, MD; the Elks Lodge, Ocean City, MD; and the VFW, Springhill, FL.

Surviving are his wife of the past 61 years, Margaret Ann “Margie” (Gudich) Fury; three sons Keith Fury and his wife Nancy, Madison, AL; David Fury and his wife Maria, Henderson, NV; and James Vinciguerra and his wife Bonnie, Kissimmee, FL; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother Frank Fury, Jr., Belleville, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 21st at 11 am in Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston, with the Rev. Patrick McDowell celebrating the Mass.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.  Friends may call at the church from 10 am until the time of the Mass.
