Alan H Marx

Alan H. Marx, 85, of Sugarloaf, PA, passed away Monday morning at his residence. 

Born in Valley City, ND, on August 1, 1929, he was the son of the late Nick and Agnes (Gunderson) Marx.  Alan was a service person in the U.S. military for 20 years and also worked for United Telephone Company in New Jersey for 17 years. 

Alan was mechanically and electrically inclined and enjoyed fixing things and working on cars that he owned.

Alan is survived by two sons Bruce Marx, Sugarloaf; Robin Marx and his wife Claudia, Dingman’s Ferry; and two grandchildren Sabrina and Alex Marx.  

A memorial service will be held privately at the convenience of the family with Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, PA assisting with the arrangements.  Online condolences can be entered and more information is available at www.harmanfuneral.com.
